Summer School

Eligible families will receive an email and text notification sent to the primary contact information on  file with PowerSchool. The priority enrollment window opens on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 9:59 p.m.

Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education Program: Services provided to eligible students who have unique needs and require special education and related services in excess of the regular academic year. Families with questions regarding ESY eligibility should reach out to their student’s case manager. 

WHO is eligible for this Priority Enrollment Window?

Currently enrolled SDUSD District TK-6th grade students, who meet one or more of the following criteria: 

• Homeless/foster youth
• Low-income students
• English Learners
• Siblings of the above
• Students with disabilities (IEP/504)

WHAT can I enroll my student in during this Priority window?

• Summer Academic Morning Program and Summer PrimeTime Program on 41 open sites from 20 days (June 4th - July 3rd):

·         Summer academic program (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)

·         Summer PrimeTime (12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) 

HOW do I enroll my eligible student during this Priority enrollment window?

• Ensure your students PowerSchool account is current with the primary contact’s email and cell phone number in the first field.
• Click on the student specific enrollment link (emailed and texted to primary users information) during the Priority Window:  
  • Opens: Monday, February 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. 
  • Closes: Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 9:59 p.m.

GENERAL ENROLLMENT for all TK-6 students may become available at our 41 Summer Host sites pending space. More information to come in Late Spring.
