PrimeTime Extended Day Program

The McKinley PrimeTime program is a free before and after-school program located on-site. The program is open on all school days from 6:00 - 8:30 am, 3:00 - 6:00 pm on regular days, and 12:15 - 6:00 pm on minimum days. We operate with 20:1 ratios (20 children for 1 staff).

The PrimeTime staff receive regular trainings throughout the school year on active supervision, behavior management, physical fitness activities, and academic activities. The staff also plan and host unique clubs based on their own special talents such as Guitar, Flag Football, Hip Hop Dance, Art, Drama, and Video Production! We also partner with credentialed school teachers in our after-school All-Star program to support your child's learning during the school day.

Throughout the week, students enrolled in PrimeTime will engage in hands-on STEM projects, learn about different cultures and communities from around the world, strengthen their muscles and teamwork skills through outside play, and share their creativity through a variety of art projects. Students also participate in weekly character development lessons that cultivate traits of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The program also hosts several special family events throughout the school year including carnivals, talent shows, art exhibits, movie nights, family board game night, and an annual BBQ,
