Mrs Viviana Alcazar-Haynes has been a teaching artist with the San Diego Unified School District and Young Audiences since 2007. It was there that she was awarded teaching artist of the year in 2013. She is an active Dancer/Choreographer in San Diego dance community. Viviana teaches all genres of dance at local dance studios including her own business called Heart2art which provides dancers in Coronado opportunities to train, perform and be an active part of their community by entertaining audiences of all ages. She has been a teacher here at McKinley for the since 2012. She has enjoyed being a part of this unique wheel program which gives students a well rounded opportunity to incorporate movement and body awareness with the IB principals, themes and values. For fun Ms.Viviana enjoys quiet weekends at the river and walking her two BIG pups Samson and Delilah.
