What an honor it is to serve as the Principal of McKinley Elementary! McKinley is a truly an amazing school. Our exceptional teachers, dedicated staff, and engaged community work together to create a nurturing, inclusive, and academically rich environment for every student.
I’ve worked in elementary education for over 25 years in roles including instructional assistant, classroom teacher, instructional coach, district resource teacher, and administrator. I’m entering my fourth year as Principal of McKinley, and I continue to be inspired daily by the joy, curiosity, and creativity of our students.
Raised in San Diego, I’ve lived in the North Park community with my family since 2011. I’m passionate about working in partnership with teachers and families to ensure students receive the highest-quality instruction and feel seen, valued, and supported in all aspects of their development. My leadership is grounded in collaboration, continuous improvement, and a belief in the limitless potential of every child.
